In this special program, you will enjoy all the typical activities at Bethelwoods while working on your leadership skills. In SALT (Service and Leadership Training), the first step in our Leadership Training Program, campers help lead recreation for younger campers, wash dishes in the kitchen, and spend time in BLAST and faith discussions. CLIP (Camp Leadership in Practice) is the second step in the program and is designed for those who have attended SALT in a previous summer. CLIP campers will continue to develop their leadership skills by shadowing camp counselors for part of the day and then debriefing these experiences as a group. The CLIP program on June 22nd-27th is on the Night Owl schedule. For campers who have completed SALT and CLIP, the third step in the program is LEAD (Leadership Education and Development). This step involves a visit to another Presbyterian summer camp where they can learn about another program, and have the opportunity to apply their new knowledge back home at Bethelwoods.
