Leaders In Training (LIT)
9th-11th Grade Completed LIT is a two week program focusing on developing Christian based leadership skills and spiritual gifts. Our LITs spend a full two weeks immersed in a spirit filled environment where our highly trained staff help them discover their gifts, calling, and direction in addition to participating in our classic camp activities. The LIT program culminates in an opportunity to participate in a service based project and shadow groups of campers to learn how to lead in a camp setting. Counselors In Training (CIT)
11th-12th Grade Completed Does your camper dream of becoming a member of the Bethelwoods Summer Staff one day? This camp is designed for campers who've completed 11th-12th grade and who want to continue developing their leadership skills in the context of serving as a summer camp staff member. During your camper's first one week training session, they will work closely with our Leadership staff and Program Director learning how to facilitate activities, lead Bible Studies, and help campers dive deeper into their faith. Once they have completed their first week they will they have the opportunity to shadow counselors by spending the next two weeks living with a group of campers and learning just what it means to be a summer camp counselor.
