Bethelwoods’ Ministry is supported by Providence Presbytery, Charleston Atlantic Presbytery, and countless organizations, churches, and families. We invite you to prayerfully consider a donation to our ministry.
Since 1965 we have been a place set apart to encounter God’s love through creation and community as we grow in Christian faith. We have been so blessed to serve countless people over the years through summer camps, retreats, family gatherings, meetings, and so much more. In 2020 we celebrated 55 years “grounded in faith”, we also look forward to the next 55, as we hope to “grow to serve” in new and exciting ways in 2021 and beyond. We hope you will consider a donation to help us get there. There are a few different ways to give: A gift to our 2021 Annual Fund allows us to support our ministry in many ways throughout the year through smaller projects that we may be unable to fund through normal expenses. This general fund is used for anything from supplies for summer camp to refurbishments and renovations in our buildings and facilities. The specific projects these donations are used for are decided on by Bethelwoods Staff and Ministry Team based on needs we have for that specific year. A gift to our “Kids to Camp” Scholarship Fund allows us to offer scholarships for camp to families that would not be able to send their children to Bethelwoods without it. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience camp. The final way to give is to our COVID-19 Response and Relief fund. This has been a tough year for us at Bethelwoods, as it has for many non-for profit businesses and ministries. Bethelwoods decided to suspend our summer camp programs and a lot of our booked retreats and conferences have cancelled for the year. As you can imagine, Bethelwoods relies on the income from these camps and events to fund our operations and continue our work in ministry. A donation to this fund will help us with our deficit due to the loss of this income and expenses incurred as a result of the pandemic this year. |
